As A Hostess And Cashierin Kfc Resturent {Yum International

I work over at the KFC in Bathinda. It is located at Street No. 5 in Phase 2, which is part of the Baba Fareed Nagar area on Bibi Wala Road. My job title is hostess and cashier, which basically means I am the first person people see when they walk through the door. I also handle the money at the counter. It's a Yum International restaurant, so we have the usual chicken and stuff. The place gets pretty busy, especially in the evenings when families come out. The address is a bit long but most people around here know exactly where Bibi Wala Road is. It’s a big street. I spend my day standing behind the counter or near the entrance. Sometimes the air conditioning doesn’t feel like it’s working well enough because it gets so hot in Punjab, but we manage. I keep the menus straight and make sure the cash register has enough change. It is just a regular job in a fast-food place. Nothing too fancy about it. I talk to a lot of different people every day. Some are nice, some are in a hurry. I just try to get the orders right and keep the line moving. It's a lot of standing and talking. The restaurant is just one of many on this road. We have a routine. I show up, put on the uniform, and start greeting people. It’s how I spend most of my time.
