Tip Top Beauy Parlour

If you go near Ishar Halwai Chowk in Jagraon, you will find Tip Top Beauy Parlour. It is right across from Gurdwara Atam Singh. Being near the halwai means there is usually the smell of frying samosas or sweets in the air, which is not a bad thing. Jagraon is a busy town in Ludhiana and this spot is right in a very active area. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The parlour is a simple room with the basic stuff. We have the mirrors lined up and the chairs for the ladies. It is a place where people from the neighborhood stop in. Since we are opposite the Gurdwara, we get a lot of people who are already in the area for their prayers. We keep the shop open through the heat and the rain. The building is a bit older, so it has some character, maybe a few cracks in the tile or a door that squeaks. We don’t mind. It is our place of work. We handle everything from basic threading to hair work. It is not a high-end studio, just a local parlour where you can sit and get your work done. People often come in and talk about their families or the local news while we work. It feels like home to us after all these years. It is just a tip top little spot in Jagraon.
