A R Plaza Hair Saloon is located on the Main Road in the Janak Puri area of Ludhiana. You can find us right near the Angad Dev Gurudwara. Being in Chaura Bazar means there is always something going on outside our door. It’s a very busy part of town, so we get all kinds of people walking in. Some are just passing through the market, and others have lived in Janak Puri their whole lives. The place is quite simple inside, just the regular barber chairs and some large mirrors on the wall. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy lighting because that’s not what people come here for. They just want a haircut that looks alright. Working in Ludhiana, you meet a lot of different characters every day. It keeps the job interesting. We stay open late most days because the market stays active until the sun goes down. The 141008 area is always bustling, and we are just one small part of it. We keep our tools clean and our scissors ready. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. It’s just about showing up, opening the shutters, and cutting hair until it's time to go home. If you are ever near the Gurudwara and need a trim, our door is usually open for anyone who needs it.
