Absolute Unisex Salon

We've been here at Dewan Plaza in Model Town for a while now. It’s right across from the Monte Carlo showroom, which makes it easy for people to find us when they're out shopping. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough chairs for men and women since we do both. Ludhiana gets pretty busy, especially this part of town, so there's always something going on outside our windows. We start early in the morning, getting the towels ready and making sure the floor is swept before the first person walks in. Most of the people who come here live nearby in Model Town, though some stop by after seeing the sign from the main road. It's just a regular place where you can get your hair cut or colored without too much fuss. We don’t really go for anything fancy, just standard chairs and mirrors that do the job. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street brings us a round in the afternoon when things slow down. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We try to keep things organized, but on Saturdays, it gets a little crowded with people waiting. We just tell them to have a seat and we'll get to them when we can. Working in a unisex salon means we see all sorts of styles, which keeps the day interesting for everyone working here. We just stay focused on the work and head home when the lights go out.
