About Thirupathi Agro – Agriculture & Farming in Ludhiana
We are over at Plot No. 708/5 in the Textile Colony, right in the Industrial Area-A of Shimlapuri. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of noise—trucks reversing, machines humming, and people shouting over the din. It’s not the most peaceful place to work, but it’s where all the action is. We handle agro products, so things can get a bit messy depending on what’s coming in or going out that day. The building itself is an old one, with high ceilings and some cracks in the floor that have been there since I can remember. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the plot number and the name painted on the side. My cousin helps me with the paperwork, though we both prefer being out on the floor where the real work happens. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around. Shimlapuri has changed a lot over the years, more buildings going up every month it seems. We just stay in our corner and keep doing what we’ve always done. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to fix the equipment or just sit out front for a bit and watch the traffic go by. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get the orders right and keep our regular customers coming back. It’s a living, and we’ve been doing it a long time now.
