Enfield Agrobase Limited

Enfield Agrobase Limited is situated right on the Lakhowal Koraha Main Road. It’s a rural setting, being in the village and all. You see a lot of tractors and farm equipment passing by throughout the day. We work with agricultural products, which means our schedule often depends on the season. When it’s harvest time, it gets incredibly busy and everyone stays late to finish the work. The rest of the year is a bit more predictable and slow. The building is simple and serves its purpose for storage and some basic processing. We deal with farmers from the surrounding areas quite a bit. They drop off their loads and we handle the rest of the steps. The air around here is different from the city, a bit more open and fresh. Our office is just a small room at the front with a couple of chairs and a dusty desk. Most of the time we are out back or in the warehouse anyway. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy bags and checking quality by hand. We’ve been here for a good while, so we know the local roads and the people around the village. It’s not a fancy corporate operation with suits. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, so we just wait it out or find something manual to do. It's a steady life out here.
