Sukh Agriculture

Sukh Agriculture is out in Sarnana, specifically over by Than Singh Chowk in Fatehganj. It’s a very rural spot, which makes sense given what we do. The air is a bit clearer out here, though it gets very dusty when the wind picks up across the fields. We don’t have a fancy office building; it’s just a sturdy place where we store our equipment and meet with the farmers from around the area. Most of the people who work here grew up on farms themselves, so we know what it takes to get things to grow in this soil. We talk a lot about the weather and the rain, because that’s what dictates our lives. Some years are good and some years are lean, but you just have to take it as it comes. We aren't interested in big city ways or complicated business models. We just provide what the local agriculture community needs and try to be fair about it. You can usually find one of us sitting outside the shop near the chowk, just keeping an eye on things and talking to neighbors who pass by. It’s a slow pace of life compared to the cities, but there is always something that needs to be done. We just keep moving forward, one season at a time, and hope the land treats us well. It is a long tradition for us.
