Amith Agro

Amith Agro is out in the village of Uchhi Mangli, right along the main road that goes from Ludhiana to Chandigarh. It is a busy highway with trucks and tractors going back and forth all day long. Our place is more of a practical setup for agriculture. We are surrounded by open fields and other small businesses that support the farming community here in Punjab. It is not a fancy office with carpets. We have a lot of space for equipment and various supplies that farmers need. The dust from the road usually finds its way inside the office, so we are always cleaning things off with a cloth. Working in Uchhi Mangli means we are close to the people who actually use what we sell. We spend our time talking about the crops, the changing weather, and different types of machinery. It is a straightforward kind of life for us. There are not any big malls or fancy cafes nearby to hang out in. We usually just have our meals at the local dhabas along the road with the truck drivers. The winters get quite cold and very foggy here, making the drive to work a bit of a challenge sometimes. But we have been doing this for a while and we are used to the rhythm. We do not have a big marketing team or anything. It is just us, the road, and the farmers who stop by.
