Swastika Institute

You can find us at House 2578/21 on Street No 4 in Jammu Colony. We are very close to Atam Park, which is a nice landmark to have nearby. Ludhiana is a big city, but this little pocket of Jammu Colony feels quite tight-knit. Our institute is basically part of a house that we’ve converted into a study space. It has a very residential feel to it. When you walk in, it doesn't feel like a cold office; it feels like someone’s home. We have fans humming in every room to keep the heat away during the summer months. There are plenty of books piled up on the shelves and the walls are mostly covered with charts and maps. We started Swastika Institute to give local students a place where they didn't have to travel far for help. Many of them come from the surrounding streets in the 141003 area. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It is just us and a few teachers who know the students by name. Sometimes the kids stay back to talk or finish their work if they don't want to go home yet. The proximity to Atam Park means there is always a bit of green nearby, even if we are mostly stuck indoors with the books. It is a quiet, practical place for learning without any unnecessary bells and whistles.
