Surja Tools Manufacturing Co

We’ve been here at 228 B Industrial Area A for a long time now. Most people know our location because we are right opposite the Kwality Ice Cream shop. Sometimes the smell of the sugar from over there drifts into our workspace, which is a nice change from the usual smell of grease and metal shavings. Surja Tools Manufacturing Co is basically just a group of us working with heavy machines all day. It gets pretty loud in here when all the equipment is running at once, so we have to shout to be heard. We usually have the big front door open to let some air in, especially during the summer months when it feels like an oven inside. The floor is always covered in a bit of metal dust no matter how many times we sweep it up. We started out small and just kept at it, adding a machine here and there when we could afford to. Our neighbors in the industrial area are all doing similar stuff, so there is always someone moving a truck or unloading some steel nearby. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace with tools, some heavy benches, and a small office in the corner where we keep the paperwork. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we all know how the old machines like to act up on Monday mornings. It is just honest work that keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down and we lock up.
