S.S. Bricks & Blocks

We are located in Gurudev Nagar, which is right near the Civil Lines area and Durga Puri. S.S. Bricks & Blocks has been operating from this location for quite some time now. It’s a good spot because it is central enough that people from both Civil Lines and Durga Puri can get to us without too much trouble. Our yard is usually quite full of various sizes of bricks and blocks. It gets pretty loud during the day with the machinery running and the trucks coming in to pick up loads. We don't have a fancy reception area or a polished office. There is just a small wooden table where we do our bookkeeping and take down orders. It’s often covered in a thin layer of grit because that’s just what happens when you work with blocks all day. We are just a small group of people working here, and we all know the regulars who stop by. We don't use any complicated systems. If someone needs a certain number of blocks, we count them out and get them loaded. The weather in Gurudev Nagar can be a bit harsh, but we just work through it. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when we are really busy, but we eventually get everything back in its place. It is just an honest, local business. We don't make any big promises, we just provide the bricks and blocks that people in the neighborhood need.
