Sri Sai Tools Center

Sri Sai Tools Center is located at 1190 Gill Maharshi Nagar, not far from Gill Chowk. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty packed with traffic around the chowk. We've been at this spot for a while, selling mostly basic tools and hardware that people need for their houses or small shops. It’s a crowded shop, tools hanging everywhere you look. Sometimes I can’t even find a specific wrench myself without looking for five minutes. We get a lot of workers coming in early before their shifts start. They usually know exactly what they want, so we try to keep the common stuff right up front where it's easy to grab. It’s a noisy neighborhood, lots of horns honking outside, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a fancy website or anything. If someone needs a hammer or a set of drills, they just walk in. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, and the light flickers sometimes, but it’s a solid place to work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the guy down the street has the right screwdriver to fix his door. It’s honest work. We stay open until the sun goes down usually. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place going day after day, year after year, through all types of weather.
