Sonu Trading Co is based at Plot No 160 B in the Miller Ganj Industrial Estate. If you know Miller Ganj, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. There’s always someone loading a truck or moving crates around. Our plot is right in the thick of it. We spend most of our time dealing with various goods and keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. The warehouse is usually full of boxes and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to stand. It’s a practical environment, meant for moving stuff, not for looking pretty. We have a small desk where we keep our ledgers and some old pens. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen plenty of other businesses come and go. It’s a tough area to work in because of the dust and the constant noise, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a big marketing department. Usually, it's just us answering the phone and making sure the orders are correct. Sometimes the rain makes the loading area a bit muddy, but we just throw some boards down and keep working. We don't make big promises. We just try to get the trading done the way it should be. It’s a lot of physical work and long hours, but that’s the way things are in Miller Ganj. We close the shutters late most nights and start again early the next morning when the sun comes up.
