Our place is over at House No. 236-C in Deshmesh Nagar, and mostly we just deal with the daily stuff that comes up for farmers around Kanganpur Road. It’s a busy area and the office isn’t anything fancy. Some days we are just sitting there going through paperwork or talking about how the soil is looking this season. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to get most things done early. People drop by whenever they have a question about their crops or if they need some advice on what to plant next. We aren't a big corporation with suits; it’s just us trying to make sense of the agro business here. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we keep the doors open anyway. We’ve been at this for a bit now and know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s hard work, and the phone rings more than I’d like, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a producer company. We handle a lot of different things, from seed issues to figuring out the best way to move produce. It isn't always smooth, and sometimes we make mistakes with the filing, but we fix it and move on. Being near Kanganpur Road means there is always traffic, so we hear the trucks all day. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to be useful to the local farming community without too much fuss.
