Ekam Kisan Agro Limited

Ekam Kisan Agro Limited is located over on Tarn Taran Road in Village-Koharka. We are near Po-Shahbazpur, which is where we go for our mail and things like that. The business is run by the family, and you’ll often find us out near the road or in the back fields. Being in Koharka means we are right in the middle of a lot of farming activity. We deal with the crops and the land every single day. My husband, Kuldeep Singh, and I have put a lot of years into this place. It’s not a flashy business with a big sign. It is more about the daily grind of checking the water and making sure the pests aren't getting into everything. The road can get loud with the trucks passing by, but once you get back into the fields, it's quiet. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just have our hands and our knowledge of how this soil works. Sometimes the harvest is great and we celebrate, and other times we just hope for a better season next year. It’s just life on the Tarn Taran Road. We provide what we can to the local area and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a long day’s work every day of the week, but that is what we know how to do best. We keep things simple because that is the only way to survive out here in the village.
