Sokhi Industries

Sokhi Industries is located at 1984, Janta Nagar, Street Number 2. We’re right behind the P.N.B. on Gill Road. If you know Ludhiana, you know this is a busy area for manufacturing and trade. We’ve been here in Janta Nagar for a long time. Our workshop is where we spend most of our waking hours. We make parts and components, mostly for the bicycle or auto industry since that’s what this area is known for. It’s a noisy place with the sound of hammers and presses going all day long. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and take calls. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the heat, but that’s just how a real shop looks. We hire local guys who live nearby, and we’ve become a bit of a family over the years. We don't put out ads in the paper or anything like that. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with other businesses on Gill Road. We just try to do the work that’s expected of us without making a fuss. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s a simple way of living and working that suits us just fine.
