Snip Salon

Snip Salon is located at Shop Number 66 on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana. We are right by the Pink Flats, which is how most people describe where we are when they are looking for us. It’s a well-known landmark in this area. I started working here because it’s a busy road with a lot of people moving around. The shop itself is small but I try to keep it tidy. It is just a regular salon where you can get your hair trimmed or a shave. I don’t use any fancy machines, just the usual scissors and combs. The Pink Flats area has a lot of residents, so I see the same faces every couple of weeks. It’s nice to know the names of the people who walk through the door. I usually have some music playing softly in the background to fill the silence when I'm working. Pakhowal Road can be quite noisy with all the cars, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more secluded. I don't have a big team, usually just myself and maybe one other person if it’s a Saturday. We don't take things too seriously here. It’s just a place to come, sit down for a bit, and leave feeling a little better. I enjoy the routine of it all. Each day starts the same way and I like the consistency of the work. It’s just a regular local shop.
