Singh Plastic

This is Singh Plastic, located in Amarpura Phase 8. Our address is K 245, which is easy to find if you know the area. We deal with all sorts of plastic items. Buckets, bins, and some industrial parts too are what we handle. Because of the machines running, the workshop is pretty noisy. A few people work the shifts to keep things moving. It’s not a very clean environment, as plastic scraps are often on the floor. Sweeping up at the end of the day is something we try to do. My time is mostly spent at a small desk checking orders. Heat from the molding machines makes the place quite warm. Even though we have large windows, they stay shut to keep the dust out. Other local shops that need stock provide a lot of our business. We don't have a fancy front office here. Walking through the main door takes you right into the production area. It’s a practical setup for this kind of work. Working with plastic for years has made me familiar with everything. As soon as I walk in, I know the smell of the raw material. Once a week, a truck comes to pick up the finished goods. Sometimes the machines break down and fixing them ourselves is the only way. It's just a regular factory life. Making things people use every day in their homes or businesses is our focus. Electricity goes out sometimes, stopping everything. We just wait for the power to come back. It’s part of running a factory here.
