Sheela Beauty Parlour & Boutique

Being in Rana Market means there is always something going on nearby. Our shop is at number three and we do a mix of things here. One side is for beauty work like facials or threading and the other side handles the boutique stuff. People often come in because they are already shopping in Haibowal Kalan and they see us near Khanna Sofa. It’s a handy location for women who need a suit stitched and also want to get their eyebrows done in one trip. The space is a bit tight when we have a lot of fabric lying around for the boutique side. My sewing machine hums away while someone else is getting their hair washed. It's a bit of a juggle but we manage. Some days are quieter than others, especially when it rains and the market slows down. We keep the threads and the creams in their places so we can find them fast. Most of the ladies who come here live just a few streets away. They usually stop by to check on their orders or see if we have time for a quick trim. It’s not a big corporate place, just a regular shop where we try to get the work done right. The light in the front is better for the sewing, so that's where most of the boutique work happens. We keep a few chairs out front for when people have to wait for their measurements.
