Shd Machine Tools

Our place, Shd Machine Tools, is on Gill Radha Swami Road, not too far from Gne College. Being near the college means there are always students walking past or stopping to look in the door. It is a fairly busy road with lots of bikes and scooters zipping around. The shop is a simple brick building with a high ceiling that helps a bit with the heat. We have several lathes and milling machines lined up along the walls. The smell of cutting oil is the first thing you notice when you walk in, and it stays on your skin even after you go home. We have a small radio that we keep on a shelf, and it plays music in the background while we work. The floor is always a bit slippery, so we have to be careful when we are carrying heavy items. There is a small window at the back that looks out onto a little alleyway, but it is mostly covered in grime. We don't have a fancy sign or any advertisements; people just know we are here. Most days are spent doing the same tasks over and over, but we don't mind the routine. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun sets over the college buildings. We just pack up our tools, sweep the worst of the shavings away, and lock the door until the next morning.
