Sharman Ji Impo Expo

Our office is located on Daba Road, which is right near Sherpur Chowk, just off the main G.T. Road. It’s a prime spot for what we do at Sharman Ji Impo Expo because the trucks can get to us fairly easily, even if the traffic at the chowk is a nightmare most mornings. We deal with importing and exporting various items, so there’s always paperwork piling up on the desks and shipping containers being discussed over the phone. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls for tracking routes. We spend a lot of time talking to customs agents and transport guys. It’s a lot of waiting for shipments to arrive and then rushing to get them sent back out once they clear. Being near G.T. Road means we see people from all over. The noise from the highway is constant, a low hum that you get used to after a week or two. We drink a lot of coffee here to stay alert. We aren't some big international firm with glass walls; we’re just a small crew making sure things get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when a driver gets lost, but we make it work somehow. We've been at this for several years now.
