Shally Beauty Parlour

Shoher Market is where we are, specifically Shop Number 13 on Gram Road in the Model Gram area of Ludhiana. This part of town always has something going on. Being in a market like Shoher means there is a lot of walking traffic and people popping in while they do their other errands. Shally Beauty Parlour has been in this little space for some time. The walls have the usual stuff you see in a parlour, nothing over the top or too modern. It is a bit crowded sometimes because the shop isn't that big, but we manage. People from Model Gram know the way here. Sometimes the street gets a bit dusty or the parking is a mess, but that is just how it is in this part of Ludhiana. We start our day by cleaning up the mirrors and getting the chairs ready for whoever comes through the door first. It is mostly just straightforward work. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just us. You might hear the noise from the market outside while you are sitting here. It feels like a real part of the community though. Most customers are regulars who live just a few streets away and they come in to chat as much as they do for the parlour work. It is just a normal shop on a normal street where we try to get through the daily list of tasks.
