Scissors Hair Saloon

Scissors Hair Saloon is located right on the GT Road in the Moti Nagar area of Ludhiana. We are quite close to Sethi Sweet, so the smell of frying snacks often drifts into the shop in the afternoons. It is a very busy area with trucks and cars constantly passing by on the main road. The noise is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. Our shop is a straightforward place for men to get their hair cut or a shave. The chairs are old-fashioned and heavy, and they have been through a lot of customers over the years. We have a few posters of movie stars on the walls to give people ideas, but most just want a simple look. The floor is often covered in hair because it’s hard to keep up with the sweeping when people are coming in one after another. We use the same tools we have had for a long time because they work well. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage. It is a busy life on GT Road, and we are just one of the many small shops trying to make a living. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that move the air around. Regulars stop by not just for a haircut, but to escape the chaos of the road for a few minutes.
