S.B Engg Co.

Our workshop is at Plot No. 37 in Beant Colony. We’re situated right behind the Blind School, which is the easiest way to find us if you’re coming off Chandigarh Road. The colony is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when we’re trying to concentrate on a tricky project. S.B Engg Co. has been in this spot for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors pretty well. The space inside is mostly taken up by our equipment and various metal pieces we’re working on. We have a small desk tucked in the corner for handling the bills and phone calls, but we’re rarely sitting there for long. The floor is usually covered in a bit of sawdust or metal shavings depending on the day's work. We have a few windows that let in some natural light, but we mostly rely on the big shop lights. The gate to the yard squeaks a little bit when you open it, but we never got around to fixing that. It’s a straightforward operation here. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You just get one of us coming over from the machines with a rag in our hand. It’s a decent place to work, and being tucked away in Beant Colony keeps us out of the worst of the Chandigarh Road traffic. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs finishing.
