Sathiala Machine Tools

We are located at House No. 5385 on Old Police Chowki Road in the New Shimlapuri area. It is a residential neighborhood that has a lot of small businesses mixed in. Our workshop is right there on the ground level. We spend most of our time around machines and metal scraps. The sound of grinding and drilling is basically the background music of our lives. It can be quite loud, especially in the afternoons when everyone is working at once. We started this business because there was a need for good tools in this part of town. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It looks like any other building on the road until you see the piles of iron and the sparks flying inside. We use a lot of grease to keep the machines running smooth, so everything we touch ends up a bit sticky. It is hard work and the days are long, but we enjoy seeing a finished part ready to go. The old police chowki is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We know most of the people who live on this street and they are used to our noise by now. We don't spend money on marketing. We just let our work speak for itself when people come by to pick up their orders. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the community here.
