Sat Caterers New India Tent House

Sat Caterers New India Tent House is located right on Chandigarh road. It is a busy spot and we have been here for a good number of years now. Dealing with tents and catering is a lot of physical work, especially when the sun is beating down on the road. Most of our days are spent loading heavy poles and folded chairs onto the back of the trucks. My cousin helps me with the lifting, and we usually have a couple of local boys who come by when there is a big wedding to set up for. The shop itself is not much to look at. We have some samples of fabric hanging on the walls and a few old photos of stages we built years ago. The colors are a bit faded now, but you get the idea. We keep a large wooden desk where I sit to talk with families about their plans. We don't use any fancy computer systems; I just write everything down in a thick blue register. Sometimes we run out of the specific white linens people want if three weddings happen on the same day. That is just how the business goes. The kitchen area gets very hot in the summer, but we are used to the heat by now. Chandigarh road has changed so much since we started, with way more cars and noise than before. We just stay focused on getting the tents up straight and the food ready on time.
