Sardar Tent Service

We are located in the Improvement Trust Market in Rishi Nagar, which is part of the Civil Line area. Our business is all about tents and setting things up for local events. We have a lot of big, heavy bundles of cloth and long metal poles that we keep in our storage space. Most days are spent checking the ropes and making sure the decorations are not torn or stained. It is a lot of manual work, loading the gear onto the rickshaws or trucks and heading out to different parts of the city. The market here in Rishi Nagar is a busy place, but we have our own little corner where we manage everything. When wedding season comes around, we hardly have time to sit down. We are out there late at night or early in the morning, putting up structures so everything is ready for the party. It is not a glamorous job. We get sweaty and dirty, and the fabric can be very heavy when it is damp. We have been working out of this market for a long time, and we know how to handle the local weather and the crowds. We just provide the tents and the seating that people need for their functions. There are no fancy mission statements here, just a lot of hard work and making sure the poles stay up. That is what we do at our shop.
