We’ve been here in Dholewal for a long time now. If you walk down the street, you’ll hear the sound of the shop before you see it. It’s mostly just the guys working on the machines and the usual clutter of a place that’s been running for years. Sant Machine Tools Corporation isn't fancy. There’s grease on the floor and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority when there’s work to get through. Most mornings start with someone making tea and checking what came in the day before. We deal with tools and metal parts mostly. Dholewal is a busy spot, always trucks moving and people shouting across the lanes. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come. It’s not like those big corporate offices where everything is shiny. Here, you get what you see. We’ve got old benches and tools that have seen better days but still do the job. If the power goes out, which happens, we just sit around and talk until it comes back. It’s a simple life. We know the neighbors and they know us. Usually, someone is dropping off a part to be looked at or picking something up that we finished yesterday. It’s just how things go around here every day. No big speeches, just the work.
