Salmani Menz Parlour

Salmani Menz Parlour is tucked away on Dhandra Road in the Dugri area of Ludhiana. If you know where Kg Enterprises is, we are right across from them. It’s a straightforward shop for men. We do shaves, cuts, and trims. Nothing too complicated happens here. The shop is small, so on Saturdays, it can get a bit crowded with guys waiting their turn. We’ve got a couple of chairs and some old magazines lying around. The 141003 area is busy, and Dhandra Road always has bikes and cars zooming by. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But the shop stays mostly the same. We use the same types of razors and shears we always have. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s Ludhiana for you. Most of our regulars are guys who work nearby or live in the Dugri blocks. We don’t really do any big advertising. People just see the sign and walk in. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the haircuts. We just focus on the person in the chair. It’s a local business, run by local people. We show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who comes by. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Sometimes we have a radio playing in the corner, but usually, it's just the sound of the scissors and people talking.
