S. R. Expo Corp.

S. R. Expo Corp. is tucked into 60/61 Gurudwara Wali Market, right across from the Manju Cinema. It’s a very lively spot to be in because of all the moviegoers and people coming to the market for their daily shopping. We have been here for a good while, and our space is usually packed with various items we are getting ready for export. It can be a bit chaotic on the weekends when the crowds at the cinema are huge, but we just go about our business in the middle of it all. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a place where we keep the boxes and handle the billing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the labels on the crates. There’s a lot of movement every day with goods coming in and then being loaded onto small vans to go out. The guys working here are used to the noise of the market and the music from the cinema. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls nearby, which is one of the perks of being in this location. We don’t have a big staff, just a small group of us who know the routine inside out. It’s hard work, especially when we have a big deadline, but we like being in the heart of the market where everything is happening. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood.
