Asianlak Health Foods Ltd.

Our place is out on Chandigarh Road, specifically in U.P.O. Jandiali. It’s near Kohara, so it’s a bit outside the main city rush. Asianlak Health Foods Ltd. has a decent-sized facility here. Being out this way means we have a bit more space than the shops in the middle of town. The drive out here is usually okay unless there is construction on the main road. The air feels a little different than the city center too. We have a lot of people coming in from the nearby villages to work with us. The morning shift starts quite early when it’s still cool outside. We spend the day inside the plant making sure everything is running. It’s not the kind of place where you sit around much. There is always something that needs to be moved or a machine that needs checking. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy presentations. We just focus on the food and making sure the boxes are loaded correctly onto the trucks. By the time evening rolls around and the sun starts to set over the fields nearby, we’re usually wrapping things up. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We like being out here in Jandiali because it’s quieter than the industrial zones right in the middle of everything. It is a good place to work.
