Ess Kay Industries

Ess Kay Industries is based at 422, Industrial Area A. This is a part of town where everyone is making something. Our building is just one of many along the road, but we’ve been here long enough that people know the gate. Inside, it’s all about the work. We have machines and tools everywhere, and the floors always have a bit of that industrial dust on them. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone wearing suits. Most of us are in work clothes because we are hands-on with the manufacturing. The day usually starts with a quick check of the machines to make sure everything is running right. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We don’t do a lot of talking about what we do; we just do it. If a client needs something made, they know we’ll give them a straight answer on how long it will take. There’s no fancy talk here. We just like to see a job finished well. The sounds of the industrial area are like background music to us now. It’s a tough environment sometimes, but it’s what we know. We take pride in the fact that we can fix things ourselves and keep the production moving without needing a lot of outside help. It is just basic, hard work every single day.
