Ruby Mechanical Works

At 595/5A Focal Point, you’ll find us busy most days. Ruby Mechanical Works is right in the middle of the industrial hub. There’s always a lot of smoke and noise in Focal Point. Our shop is just one of many, but we have our own way of doing things. We have some heavy-duty grinders and drills that make a lot of noise. The walls are stained from years of work. We don’t really mind it. It’s a place where things get made. We have a lot of iron rods and plates stacked in the corner. Sometimes we have to move everything just to find one specific tool. It keeps us moving. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see our work, they just come onto the shop floor. We show them what’s on the bench right then. We have a small fan that wobbles a lot, but it helps when the sun is hitting the metal roof. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't have to say much to know what needs to be done next. We take our breaks outside on the steps when the weather is nice. It’s a simple life. We don’t have any big slogans. We just get the jobs done and try to keep our machines in good shape. Focal Point is a tough place to work, but we like being where the action is.
