Rubal International

You can find Rubal International over in Manjit Nagar, right near the Engine Shed. It’s a part of town where people really know what it means to work with their hands. You can often hear the sounds from the tracks and the sheds nearby, which gives the whole area a very specific feel. Our space isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with whatever we’re working on at the moment. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a place for people to sit and wait. Usually, if someone comes by, we just talk to them right there on the floor. It’s a bit dusty, and the floors are stained from years of moving things around, but it’s a good place to work. The team here is small, and we’ve all been together for a long time. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated plans. If something needs fixing, we fix it. If an order needs to go out, we pack it up. Manjit Nagar is a busy place, and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops around here. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, but we don't mind it much. There’s a tea shop around the corner that stays open late, which helps when the nights get long. We just try to keep things moving and stay out of trouble. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we’re proud of the work we put in.
