If you are driving down Punjabi Bagh Road in Ludhiana, you will find Roop Hair Beauty Saloon at Shop Number 3. We are quite close to the Alley Green Resorts, which is where a lot of people go for weddings and parties. Because of that, we sometimes get people coming in all dressed up or looking to get ready for a big event. The shop is a simple one, nothing too over the top. We have our tools and our chairs and we do our best with every person who sits down. Ludhiana can be a very busy and loud city, but inside the saloon, it’s just the sound of the scissors and maybe a radio playing softly in the corner. We get all kinds of people, from the young kids getting a haircut for school to the older men who have lived in Punjabi Bagh their whole lives. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we keep the inside nice and tidy. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. It’s a small space but it’s ours and we know how every drawer and light switch works. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the job well. It's a good way to make a living, seeing people leave happy with how they look. We just try to stay busy and keep the shop running well.
