Rooks Hair Salon

Rooks Hair Salon is a bit different because we are located in a basement. You have to head down the stairs to find us on Esi Hospital Road. We are right by Bharat Nagar Chowk in Ludhiana, which is a major landmark for anyone living in the 141001 area. If you are looking for us, just find Punjab Chicken and we are right near there. Being in a basement means we don’t get a lot of natural sunlight, but it makes the shop feel a bit more private and quiet compared to the heavy traffic at Bharat Nagar Chowk. You can still hear the rumble of the cars overhead sometimes. The air is always a bit cooler down here. We have a simple sign out front so people don't miss the stairs. It’s a small space, but we make the most of it. There are usually a few of us working at the same time, and the conversation stays pretty steady. We get a lot of people coming by after they finish up at the hospital or if they are just passing through the chowk. It’s a handy location even if it’s tucked away. We’ve got the basic chairs, the usual clippers, and the smell of talcum powder in the air. We don't do anything fancy with the decor. It’s just a place to get your hair fixed up. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the basement has become like a second home.
