Rohit Hair Saloon

My shop is located at 1463 Krishna Nagar, which is right by the P A U area in Ludhiana. It is a residential kind of spot, so it is usually a bit quieter than the main markets. I have been here at this address for a while now. The shop is small and has just enough space for the essentials. I have my main chair and a small bench for people to wait. I keep my tools on a little shelf that I built myself. Krishna Nagar is a good place to be because the neighbors are friendly and we all look out for each other. I start my day by opening the shutters and bringing out the water bucket to clean the front. There isn't any fancy decor here, just a few calendars on the wall. I don't go for big advertisements or anything. Most people find me just by walking down the street or hearing about the shop from a friend. I try to keep the place tidy, though hair has a way of getting everywhere. It is a one-man show mostly, so if I am busy, people just wait or come back later. I don't mind the long hours because it feels good to have my own place. It is just a regular hair salon for the folks living near the university. No frills, just honest work done every day from morning until evening. I keep the scissors moving and the floor swept.
