R K Machine Tools Ltd

At 854 Industrial Area in Aman Colony, near Spring Dale, you will find R K Machine Tools Ltd. It is a large plot, and we have been working here for quite a while now. The area is full of factories, so there is always a thick smell of smoke and oil in the air. We have a few big machines that take up most of the main hall, and they make a lot of noise when they are all running at the same time. We usually have to shout to hear each other over the clanking. There is a small office near the front, but most of the time we are out on the floor with the rest of the guys. We have a schedule we try to stick to, but things always seem to break down at the worst time, so we end up staying late to fix them. Lunch is usually brought from home in tiffin carriers and eaten together in the shade of the back wall. The floor is made of hard concrete and it is very cold on your feet during the winter months. We have some old metal chairs for when someone needs to sit down for a minute. It is a hardworking environment, and nobody really cares about being tidy. We are just here to get the machine parts done and get them shipped out. It is a lot of heavy lifting and getting our clothes dirty, but that is the nature of the work.
