Primary Government School

We've been here in Basant Avenue for a long time now. The school is right across from the Gurudwara Sahib, which makes it easy for everyone to find. Every morning, the streets around Dugri Urban Estate get busy with parents dropping off their little ones. It's a government school, so things are pretty straightforward here. We have basic classrooms and a small area for kids to run around during the break. Ludhiana is a loud city, but inside these gates, it feels a bit different once the lessons start. Some of the benches are old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it's where the neighborhood children come to learn their basics. The staff mostly just focuses on getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone shows up on time. We don't have fancy gadgets or anything like that. Just books, chalk, and the daily noise of kids playing. Sometimes the weather gets too hot and the fans struggle to keep up, but that’s just how it is. It's a local spot for the families living nearby. Most of the students walk to school from the surrounding lanes. We try to keep things organized as much as we can with what we have. It isn't a big place, but it serves the purpose for the people in this part of the city. We see the same faces every day and that’s nice.
