Daffodil Pre School

We've been here in Gurdev Nagar for a while now, right near the LIC building on Premjit Road. If you walk past B Xx 2648 in the mornings, you’ll probably hear the kids shouting or singing nursery rhymes. It’s a busy little place. Although we try to keep the bright colored walls clean, there’s always a smudge or two from the children playing. Inside, the rooms are filled with plastic blocks and those foam mats that never stay in one piece for long. A lot of our day is spent just making sure everyone has their shoes on the right feet and finishes their lunch. It gets pretty loud when it's playtime, but that’s just life with toddlers in a school. Usually, the gate has a few cycles parked outside and parents chatting while they wait for their little ones. Most of what happens inside is just us teachers and the kids doing crafts on the floor or reading. Without fancy gadgets everywhere, we just use a lot of paper, crayons, and open space for them to move. Because Ludhiana weather gets pretty dusty, we are always sweeping the front steps to keep things decent and tidy. It’s not a huge campus, but it fits us just fine. Most families around here know us by name. At this simple setup, we just focus on getting through the day without too many scraped knees or lost items. We just do our work and go home.
