Twinkle Star Pre School

Twinkle Star Pre School is located at C-808 in Urban Estate, Phase 2, which is part of the Jamalpur Colony in Ludhiana. Our school is basically a residential house that has been converted into a space for young children. This gives it a much more homely feel than a big commercial building. We have a few rooms set up for different activities, filled with small chairs, toys, and colorful posters. There is a little bit of space in the front for a couple of swings and a slide, where the kids can play when the weather is nice. Being in a residential colony means it is relatively quiet compared to the main Ludhiana roads. Most of the children come from the houses nearby, and their parents just walk them over in the morning. We are a small team of local people who look after the kids and teach them their first lessons. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a corporate office. It’s just a simple, neighborhood pre-school. We spend our days singing nursery rhymes, doing some basic drawing, and helping the children with their lunch. It’s a very relaxed environment where the kids can feel comfortable. We just do our best to take care of them and teach them their ABCs until their parents come back in the afternoon. People in Phase 2 know where we are, so we don't need much more than our small sign outside.
