Preet Boutique & Beauty Parlour

Preet Boutique & Beauty Parlour is on Main Street in Hira Bagh. It is a local spot in Jagraon where we handle both clothes and beauty work. Having the boutique and the parlour in one place keeps us very busy most of the time. One side of the shop has the sewing machines and fabrics, and the other side is where we do the hair and makeup. It can get a little crowded when we have several orders to finish and customers waiting for a thread or a wash. We spend a lot of time measuring cloth and then switching over to help someone with their hair. It is a family-run kind of thing, so we all pitch in where needed. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business. We have been in this part of Ludhiana for quite some time now. Most people know us as the place to go when they need an outfit fixed or want to look nice for a party. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook to keep track of everything. Sometimes we stay late to finish a dress if the customer needs it for the next morning. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do. We just keep the doors open and see who comes through. The iron is always hot and the mirrors stay clean. It is just our way of making a living here in Jagraon.
