Power Engineering & Consultants at Focal Point Mukund nagar E-731. The office is right in the middle of a very busy area, so there’s always the sound of construction or trucks nearby. We spend a lot of time sitting at the desks surrounded by stacks of papers and technical drawings that seem to never end. It’s a smallish space for all the work we do, but we make it work. The walls are a plain color, and we have a few old filing cabinets that have seen better days. Mukund nagar has grown a lot, and being at E-731 means we are right where the action is. Most days involve looking over plans or talking about machine parts and how they are supposed to fit together. It’s not always exciting, but it’s necessary stuff. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites, so the office sits empty for a few hours, then we come back with muddy boots and more problems to solve on paper. The tea kettle is probably the most used thing in the room because someone is always making a cup to keep going through the afternoon slump. We don’t really do much in terms of decorating the place; it’s more about having a spot to think and get the numbers right. It’s a bit cramped with all the manuals, but we know where everything is. We just keep plugging away at the designs and drawings.
