Bains Musical Group

The studio is located on Dhandra Road in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. It is usually quite a lively place because there is almost always someone practicing an instrument or humming a tune. We have a lot of equipment squeezed into the rooms, from drums to keyboards and various traditional instruments that need regular tuning. The walls have some old posters on them, and the carpets are a bit worn out from all the feet moving across them. We spend a lot of our time coordinating for local events and making sure all the gear is loaded into the vans correctly. Dhandra Road is a busy area, so there is a lot of movement outside our doors. We often have tea breaks where we sit and discuss different rhythms or songs we are working on. It isn't a quiet office by any means. There is a constant hum of activity, whether it is someone fixing a broken string or testing out a new sound system. The neighbors are used to the noise by now, or at least they don't complain much anymore. We keep a schedule on a big whiteboard that is mostly covered in scribbles and crossed-out dates. It’s a bit chaotic, but it works for us. We aren't corporate people; we are just a group that likes to stay busy with music. Every day feels a bit different depending on who walks through the door or what kind of gig is coming up next on the calendar.
