Powder Square Beauty Salon

Powder Square Beauty Salon is located at Shop Number 1, Citizen Enclave. We are on Barewal Road, which is just off Ferozepur Road here in Ludhiana. If you look across the street, you’ll see the big MBD Mall. It’s quite a contrast because the mall is so huge and modern, while our little corner of Citizen Enclave feels much more like a regular neighborhood. We have been in this shop for a while now. It’s a small space, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. There’s a spot for hair, a spot for nails, and a little area in the back. The front window lets in some light, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes. It’s a local place where people from the nearby houses come. They don’t want the fuss of the mall, they just want to get their eyebrows done or a quick haircut without the crowd. We have a small bench for people to sit on if they’re waiting. Sometimes the magazines are a bit old, but people still flip through them. The air conditioner works well, which is a relief in the Ludhiana heat. We know our regulars by name and they know us. It’s a quiet routine most days. We open up in the morning, clean the mirrors, and wait for the first knock on the door. It’s a steady way to spend the day for us here.
