Popcee Hair Saloon

Located at Shop No 44-45 in Daresi, Ludhiana, we are just a short walk from the Sita Mata Mandir. Popcee Hair Saloon is mostly for the guys in the neighborhood who need a quick shave or a haircut before work. We open early because that’s when most of our regulars come by. The shop is pretty basic. We have the standard barber chairs that lean back, and a few old magazines on the table for people waiting. Sometimes the floor gets covered in hair during the morning rush, and I have to sweep it up quickly between customers. My hands are usually busy with scissors or a razor all day. We have a small radio that plays the local news or some old songs to keep things from being too quiet. Daresi is a crowded area, so parking a scooter outside can be a bit of a pain, but people manage. We’ve been here long enough that I know most of the stories of the people who sit in my chair. It’s not a fancy spa, just a place to get your hair cut and maybe talk about the local cricket scores. We use simple soaps and lotions that everyone is used to. The lighting is bright so I can see what I am doing, and we keep the water warm for the shaves. It's a straightforward business for the working men nearby.
