Polestar Engineers

We are over at Plot No. 428 on Street Number 26 in Jiwan Nagar, right in the Focal Point area. If you’ve been to Focal Point, you know it’s all about the industry and the small workshops. Polestar Engineers is right in the middle of all that dust and activity. Our shed isn't the biggest on the block, but we’ve managed to fit all the machines we need into it over the years. There’s always a bit of oil on the floor, no matter how much we sweep up at the end of the day. We spend most of our time standing at the lathes or checking the measurements on a piece we just finished. It’s not glamorous work, and the noise can be a bit much if you’re not used to it. We don't have a secretary or anyone like that; we just handle the paperwork ourselves when the machines aren't running. The street outside is usually lined with trucks and motorbikes, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through in the mornings. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring plots for years, so there’s a lot of nodding and waving when we’re out for a tea break. It’s a steady routine. We show up, turn on the lights, get the motors running, and stay at it until it’s time to lock up and head home. It’s just how we live and work in this part of town, keeping things simple and practical for everyone involved.
