We are over here in Brs Nagar, right across from Ranbir Fancy Dress. It’s a busy spot in Ludhiana. Most days start with us unlocking the front door and getting the towels ready for the day. It gets pretty dusty out there. There is always a lot of cleaning to do before anyone even walks in. We have been in this part of Ludhiana for a bit now. People come in when they need a haircut or just want to sit down and relax for an hour away from the noise outside. Sometimes the traffic near the fancy dress shop is quite a lot. Inside it stays mostly quiet. We just do our work, chat with the regulars about their families, and keep the coffee going. It is not a very big place. We have enough chairs and mirrors to keep things moving though. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always holding a broom. We handle a lot of different things, from basic trims to the more complicated stuff people ask for when they have a wedding to go to. Most of the people who come here live nearby in Brs Nagar, so we know most of their names by now. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We try to keep things tidy and make sure people leave looking a bit better than when they walked through the door. Nothing too fancy, just us working.
