Onkar International

If you’re looking for Onkar International, you have to head down to Dashmesh Nagar and find Street Number 14. It’s a bit of a maze back there. Our place is at 1941/1. It’s a brick building that blends in with all the others on the block. Usually, there are a few scooters parked right out front, making it hard to get through the door. We spend most of our time in the back room where it stays a bit cooler. The street gets pretty loud in the afternoons when kids are coming home from school. We’ve been at this spot for quite some years. There isn't a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and yell for someone. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day, so the floor is often covered in boxes and packing tape. It gets pretty stuffy in the summer months, but we have a couple of old fans that do their job. We aren't big on decorations. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar from three years ago that nobody bothered to take down. We just focus on getting the daily tasks finished so we can head home. It’s a small operation, just a few hands helping out. We like being in this part of town because the neighbors are quiet and we’ve lived nearby our whole lives. It makes coming to work feel like just another part of the day.
