Nr Events

Nr Events is based out of Bharat Nagar 225. It’s a busy neighborhood and our office reflects that. There are usually boxes of decorations or stacks of papers sitting in the corners because there is always something going on. We don’t have a big reception desk or a person waiting to greet you with a script. Usually, someone is on the phone or typing away at a laptop. The walls are a bit bare, maybe a few notes taped up here and there so we don’t forget the details for the next event. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. It’s a working space, plain and simple. Outside, the street is always full of life, which is nice but can be distracting when we are trying to count things. We’ve spent a lot of hours here, sometimes late into the night when an event is coming up. The furniture is a bit mismatched, gathered over time as we needed more seats. We don’t use corporate jargon or have long meetings about things that don't matter. We just talk about what needs to be moved, who needs to be called, and where the trucks are. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that’s just how this kind of work goes. Being at Bharat Nagar 225 makes it easy for us to get around the city. It’s a central enough spot and we like being part of the local community here, even when it gets a bit noisy.
